Dort wird sie in der Sommerperiode gut feucht gehalten durch tauchen oder sprayen jeden Tag. Alle 2 Wochen füge ich Dünger bei. Den Winter verbringt sie etwas kühler und wird trockener gehalten. Das Düngen wird eingestellt bis zum Frühjahr. Die Infloreszenz entspringt an der Basis der Bulbe und bringt einzelne Blüten hervor. Der Duft ist einmal. Sie riecht stark nach Cocosnuss.
I cultivate this lovely Maxillaria mounted on a slab. There is a base of moss around the roots which keep the area there moist. I hang it outdoor from May until October. I keep it fairly moist in this time by spraying every day or give it a bath 2-3 times per week. I add fertilizer every 2 weeks during the summer months. I place it in the cooler orchid room during winter and reduce then watering and stopp fertilizing. The inflorescence apears at the base of the bulb and gives a very fragrant flower. The fragrance is like the smell from a coconut.
